Feedback from Joanna and Daniel

I received feedback from Jo and Dan today, whose wedding I recently photographed at St Mary's Church, Stone and Next Generation Club, Dartford - see their wedding gallery.

David was professional and friendly throughout the day and made having our photos taken an enjoyable experience. Although the weather was not as wished, David made us soon forget about the rain and still got some amazing shots.

We would definitely recommend David and feel he was great value for money.

Feedback from wedding at Grove Ferry Inn

I received feedback from Gemma & John today whose wedding I photographed a few weeks ago at St Nicholas Church, Sturry and the Grove Ferry Inn, Upstreet - see their wedding gallery.

Just back from our fab honeymoon. We had a look at the photos yesterday and they are brilliant. We just wanted to say a massive thank you - you really made our day. We just wish the day went a bit slower.

Everyone we spoke to has said they thought you were brilliant, and they love the photos too.

Thank you again.

Gemma and John Alsop

Many thanks to Gemma and John for this.

Family portraits at Deal beach

I had the pleasure of photographing Julie and her family at Deal beach on Saturday morning - see their family portraits. The sun was so strong we had to take shelter under the shade of the pier, which limited our freedom to move, but we had a productive shoot nonetheless. Posing people just besides the sea does have its risks though - particularly when large waves come in!

Wedding at St Andrew's Church and Ramada Hotel, Dover

I had the pleasure of photographing Louise and Adam's wedding yesterday at the Buckland Church of St Andrew and the Ramada Hotel, Dover - see their wedding gallery.

After an overcast week the sun was out with a vengeance yesterday - incredibly strong and contrasty and without a cloud in the sky. Still, better than rain. Apparently this August has been the gloomiest since 1912 - let's hope the next one like this is 96 years off! The upside of this was that the interior of the church was a lot brighter than when I was there earlier in the month - no ISO 3200 this time.

Louise and Adam are a fine-looking couple (and pretty athletic too - check out Adam's leap above) and I soon had them posing like catalogue models. They were great fun to work with. After all their hard work they deserved a glass of champagne. We had intended to pop the cork under 'controlled conditions' but it shot out like an inter-continental ballistic missile giving us all a shock in the process - it did result in some entertaining shots though.
