I've always loved taking photographs but got more serious about it when I bought my first Canon SLR (single lens reflex) camera, the EOS 1000FN, in 1992. Since then my camera has always accompanied me on my numerous trips around the world, during which time I've found my main interest has become people photography. Hence the natural progression to wedding and portrait photography. I first dipped a toe into the digital waters with the EOS 350D in 2005 and then upgraded to the EOS 5D in 2007. I'm constantly improving both my technique and kit to ensure that the quality of my wedding photography gets better all the time. I started shooting weddings professionally in 2005 and now photograph about 25 a year. I've been told many times that "I'm a pleasure to work with" and always get the job done professionally with a smile on my face and my sense of humour intact, even after 10 hours of shooting! I'm fast approaching 40, am married with one daughter - Emily - who, being only 9 months old, is still too young to complain about having her photograph taken most days.
