The estate is accessed via a long tree-lined drive which leads to a beautiful country house, built in the 1920s in the neo-Elizabethan style, situated in 3000-acres within the Canterbury-loop of the North Downs - so the surrounding landscape is stunning too. Eastwell Manor is a privately-owned four star country house hotel and features an award-winning restaurant, golf course, spa facilities and extensive accomodation. Walking through the front courtyard leads to the magnificent panelled reception hall with its grand fireplaces and then on to the luxurious drawing room which overlooks the beautiful manicured lawns. Four areas of the hotel are licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies, three oak-panelled manor house rooms (Bishop of Bayeux, Rose Garden and Chaucer rooms) and the beautiful walled Italian Maid's Garden with gazebo, seasonal flower displays and lily-pond with a lovely bridge.
