Dear David,

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for the photographs you took and your presence on our special day. We have had a chance to look through all the photographs now and absolutely love them. They really capture the day for us, and capture it in a way we remember it happening, rather than as a set of staged formal photos. It was lovely that you were able to catch moments for us that we weren't aware of, for example guests arriving at the church, and also their first reactions to their favours which we obviously weren't there for.

Whilst we are over the moon with the photos we are also so impressed by you and your professionalism from the beginning of the process, when we met you last year, right up until the after-wedding correspondence. You merged seamlessly into the day and those who you were sat with at the wedding breakfast said what great company you were. You remained very patient with any photography demands and interferences from our friends and family too!

I was worried at first about the portrait shoot, about disappearing off and either missing things or being needed. It worked as a really lovely pause for us though, however, and it was so nice to spend fifteen minutes away from everyone with my new husband so that we could discuss the day so far and savour the moment instead of rushing from one part of the day to the next.

I would really recommend you (and have, in fact, done so to one of my friends who is getting married!)
