Now the dust has settled on the year of "two weddings and a new boat" Denise and I have had our holiday and Sam and Ben are still on honeymoon in Australia I thought I would gather my thoughts to a proper thank you.

It was Samantha who first noticed your work when looking on line for a photographer. My immediate thoughts looking at your website were this guy looks well organised and Denise and I really liked what we saw of other weddings.

After some email exchanges to confirm that dates and times worked ok, we actually set the timetable for the day based on your timings all around sunset.

When we met with you at your home to go through the details you made us feel welcome and you gave us really useful guidance about various activities on the day given that we had such elements as London buses and tractors to squeeze in above all the usual wedding stuff.

On the day at our house you became part of the family, the bride and bridesmaids had taken over the house and you came in almost un-noticed and made such imaginative use of the most simple things to set off the brides shoes, her bouquet, to make such remarkable images and memories.

The pictures of us leaving the house provide such superb memories.

At the church you were there but I barely remember you being there capturing serious moments, delightful bridesmaids and of course your superlative orchestration of the simultaneous firing of 20 confetti canons that provides one of the absolutely stand out images of the day.

At Cobham Hall you produced further magical images with the bride and groom alone, the majestic building and rooms. The family groups both inside and out all perfectly lit and absolutely awash with smiling faces.

We can't thank you enough for all your work and skill in capturing the event, being part of the team, helping and guiding us without ever intruding, you were a joy to have around.

The work we saw at the outset gave us high a expectation for our daughters wedding and the pictures far exceeded what we had hoped for.
