David’s wedding photography first caught our eye thanks to his thoughtful approach to the surroundings of the day and his ability to capture the incredible beauty of nature in his work. We were impressed by the photographs on his website where so often the backdrop was just as striking and beautiful as the couple themselves. We also appreciated the relaxed, informal style of photography he produces through the candids of guests as well as his keen eye for capturing all the small details of the wedding day (every bride and groom excited to see the details all come together on the day will no doubt appreciate this!)

When we met David to discuss the wedding, we found him to be extremely professional and friendly. He gave us great confidence we’d made the right choice of photographer. We left feeling relaxed about the day and confident we were in good hands.

On the day itself, we found David to be incredibly hard-working and focused on the job in hand, gently steering guests and making sure he was capturing what we had agreed and ensuring we kept on track with the plan of the day. All the while, he was friendly and polite. He was willing to make suggestions for shots and give counsel along the way about how to get the best outcome, without being forceful or pushy. And so often, he was invisible! We were rarely aware of David snapping away which helped to contribute to the very natural and relaxed feel of our photos. The results are stunning! Beautiful staging, wonderful use of light and the autumn colours are incredible.

Put simply, David is a really nice man, with a great sense of humour and we were so pleased to have him with us on the day.

Thank you David for all your hard work to capture our wedding. We are delighted with the photographs and are grateful that you turned the production around so quickly. So many of our friends and family have been enjoying the photos on your website and I’ve had lots of people tell me how beautiful the shots are. We are pleased to have so many lovely photos of our precious grandparents and parents and of course the gorgeous nieces and nephews. Thank you for so diligently sticking to the brief!
