We were impressed with David’s work before we met him and were convinced he was the man to record our special day once we had met him.

We felt an instant connection with David as if we had known him already. He has a great clear structure for the day and was happy to fit in with any changes that had to be made.

On the day itself, David came up to the hotel room and calmed me down when I was getting stressed about the button hole flower and getting ready. I can really see that David’s whole presence, attitude and mannerisms are geared to putting his clients in the most photogenic state!

Needless to say, we are delighted with the photos and would highly recommend him to anyone we ever hear is getting married.

He didn’t force us into staged photos - aside from the group shots we requested - and I think you can see from the results that his pictures tell the story of the day unfolding better than it could ever be described.

It’s also clear that David enjoys his work and had creativity and inspiration to use the surroundings for the seaside/rock photos and we laughed and joked with him the whole way through the day.

David helped the day run more smoothly and was a very comforting presence throughout.

Possibly the biggest compliment we could pay David is that a lot of the time we forgot he was there as he simply got on discreetly and allowed us to enjoy the day whilst he recorded it - we saw the day through our own eyes and it’s been so interesting to see it again through his eyes!

We had several guests comment on how lovely it was that David sat with them and got to know them a bit.
