Goodnestone Park is a beautiful stately home nestled in secluded countryside 7 miles from Canterbury. The main palladian house was built in 1704 and has recently been refurbished, both inside and out. It's surrounded by 15 acres of stunning gardens which feature a walled garden with pond, a woodland garden and a box parterre garden. It's only of only three gardens in Kent featured in The Good Gardens Guide. It's a beautiful setting and a real undiscovered gem of a wedding venue.
The venue can host inside and outside civil wedding ceremonies and Goodnestone Church is a pleasant 5-minute walk away. The wedding reception can take place indoors and there's also plenty of space in the grounds for marquees and teepees. The wedding team are relaxed and friendly and very supportive of the couples getting married at the venue.
